Mark Parkinson’s Event to Raise Toys for Tots
(Saint Charles) – Mark Parkinson, Republican Candidate for State Representative, is holding an open house on December 16, 2007 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. Instead of a monetary contribution, the admission to this meet the candidate event is a toy, which will be donated to Toys for Tots. “The Christmas season is about giving and spreading hope to all. This is a great way to raise gifts for children who otherwise wouldn’t wake up to presents under their tree,” stated Parkinson.
Parkinson added, “According to Toys for Tots, last year they delivered more than 19.2 million toys to over 7.6 million children. I can’t think of a better way to introduce myself to the public, while giving children a positive memory for a lifetime.”
The open house to meet Mark Parkinson will be held at his house, located at: 3429 Indiana Avenue, Saint Charles, MO 63303.
Parkinson is the Republican candidate in the Special Election, called by the Governor, for February 5, 2008.
